There are so many challenges when it comes to breastfeeding; from a baby’s latch, to nipple pain, breast engorgement, risk of mastitis, and low milk supply. I always found it to be anxiety inducing when I didn’t see the milk flowing while I was pumping. There are several techniques to help increase your milk supply, and one of them is to adjust your diet.
As promised, here is the second recipe of the series to help increase a mother’s breast milk supply. These are our Superfood Lactation Bites. Not only are they delicious, but they are made with superfoods, which make them nutritious.
Benefits of Moringa Oleifera: high in protein, vitamin A, potassium, calcium and vitamin C. It’s also high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, and it balances hormones naturally.
Benefits of Flaxseed: high in fiber, omega-3 fatty acid, and antioxidants.
